MOUZ and Team Spirit both win 2-1 to reach BLAST Bounty Summer final
Two three-map semifinals in Malta leave Astralis and FaZe Clan out, and set up a final between the tournament's two survivors of full-distance series.
What happened
The BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 semifinals were played on 1 August at BLAST Studios in Malta, and both went the distance.
MOUZ beat Astralis 2-1 in the first semifinal. Team Spirit beat FaZe Clan by the same score in the second. That puts MOUZ and Team Spirit through to the final and eliminates two of the more heavily followed names in the bracket.
The event is the fourth round of the 2026 Blast Premier season. Results are per HLTV.org and strafe.com.
Why it matters for the market
Two 2-1 results in the same round is the outcome that hurts anyone who was on the map-total unders or on clean 2-0 correct-score lines. In best-of-three CS, a 2-0 and a 2-1 are priced very differently, and semifinal day delivered the longer version twice.
It also means both finalists arrive having played the maximum number of maps available to them, rather than one side coming through on a short series. For anyone pricing the final, that is the only structural difference between the two sides that today's result actually establishes — neither team looked comfortable enough against their opponent to close in two.
Astralis and FaZe Clan exiting at this stage removes the two brands that typically carry the heaviest public money in a BLAST bracket. Final-day handle in these events tends to concentrate around recognisable rosters, and the closing matchup no longer has either of them in it.
What is not yet known
The available data covers the semifinal results only. Map scores, individual maps played and the date and time of the final are not included in it, and no player-level detail is available from the source record.
